Sony Ericsson has announced that its Yendo mobile has been delayed till February next year. The Yendo was originally annnounced back in June, so it's already been a long wait. The reason for the delay is that they are not happy with the current version of the software. The Yendo will feature the four-corner touch-UI that is also present on the Xperia X10 Mini.
The Sony Ericsson Yendo is a pretty basic Walkman phone that has a 2.6 inch touch-screen, 2 mega-pixel camera with digital zoom and a 3.5 mm headphone socket.
If features the Sony Ericsson Walkman app package which means it features Touch TrackID for finding names of tracks you hear, PlayNow and MediaGo. Sadly , the device doesn't support 3G or WiFi and isn't a powerful smartphone.
The Sony Ericsson Yendo will probably be priced around £100, which should compensate for the lack of cutting-edge technology. It will be available in a wide choice of colours including Black, Blue and Red.
