Binatone Launches Android Touch Tablet In India

UK based company Binatone is entering the Indian market with its low cost Android Touch Tablet. The Home Surf tablet as it is called is a low-spec basic device suitable for casual surfing. The specifications which include a 667 MHz ARM 11 processor coupled with 128 MB of RAM is just enough to power the onboard Android 1.6 OS. Inbuilt storage is 2GB and WiFi is available for connectivity. It would be unwise to expect 3G at its pricepoint which at about Rs. 9000 (~ $200) is highly affordable.
