Samsung has launched the Galaxy S and Wave in India. The devices are among the highest specced devices currently on the market. Both these devices sport Super AMOLED displays which give you the best of both worlds ie outdoor visibility and high contrast.
The Wave runs on the Samsung Bada OS which has been designed to be extremely user friendly. Running on a 1GHz processor, the device is completely smooth. The 5MP camera unit is capable of capturing 720p video. It is priced at Rs. 19000.
Along with the Wave , Samsung has also launched the Galaxy S which ranks high up along with all the other Android based devices. Running on Android 2.1, it has the proprietrary Samsung Touch Wiz UI 3.0 and comes with Samsung specific applications pre installed onto the device. The Galaxy S has 16GB of memory and also runs on a 1GHz processor.The camera unit is the same 5MP unit as the Wave and is capable of capturing 720p video. The Samsung Galaxy S which has a large 4" WVGA AMOLED display has been priced in India at Rs. 31,000.
