Rumor has it that Motorola Droid might soon be facing extinction.
Recently, a document was leaked in the Droid forum which indicated that the original Motorola Droid has reached the end of its of life status. This has been a matter of considerable shock as the device was Motorola's ticket to a comeback in the world market. But it seems natural, that Droid is passing the torch to the new Droid X and also Droid 2 which is soon to hit the market.
If these rumors of the Droid being phased out bear any verity, the production and sale of the product will gradually cease till it will finally be phased out in a month or two. But we don't know anything for sure yet...
